A Coastal Canal:

Bicentenary celebrations have started to celebrate 200 years since the Lancaster Canal.

It was opened in Kendal in 1819.

Waterwitch  (pictured) is a 28-foot narrow boat based at Crooklands near Kendal.

It is run by the Lancaster Canal Trust.

Furthermore, during the summer, volunteers run trips aboard Waterwitch on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays until September.
