The derelict lido in Grange-over-Sands is one step closer to reopening.
At long last, plans are afoot to do something about the derelict pool at the end of the promenade here in Grange.
After a local survey, the majority of residents are in favour of restoring the town’s historic lido.
The cost of restoration is estimated at an eye watering £5million.
Nonetheless, South Lakeland District Council has already approved a £1.96m project to stabilise the buildings.
